Soup of Nopales with Caldillo de Jitomate

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 clove of garlic for the caldillo
  • 1/4 of piece of White onion for the caldillo
  • 2 pieces of tomato without skin, for the caldillo
  • 1 pinch of Salt for the caldillo
  • 3 cups of Vegetables soup for the caldillo
  • 2 spoonfuls of vegetable oil
  • 2 spoonfuls of garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of White onion finely chopped
  • 2 cups of mushroom filleted
  • 1 Cup of tomato cut into cubes without seeds
  • 2 cups of nopal Cooked and drained
  • 1/4 of Cup of epazote cut into thin strips
  • 1 teaspoonful of ground clove
  • 2 pieces of chipotle chile pepper dry, whole
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 tablespoon of serrano pepper cut into rings, to accompany
  • to taste of epazote fried, to accompany
  • 1 piece of green lemon
  • to taste of tortilla To accompany

    Preparation

    Blend all the ingredients of the caldillo perfectly well. Reservation.
    Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the garlic with the onion, mushrooms and tomato until soft; add the nopales, the epazote and stuffed with the caldillo. Add the clove, the chipotle pepper, the oregano and the salt; Cover and let boil for 15 minutes.
    Serve with a little chile serrano in hoops and epazote leaves. Accompany with lemon and tortillitas.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the soup, served with tortillas, serrano pepper, epazote, and a few drops of lemon.
