Delicious nopal soup with mushrooms, this nopal soup is my favorite, prepare it and realize why it is so rich and nutritious.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 300 grams of nopal
  • 500 grams of oyster mushroom
  • 300 grams of tomato
  • 1/4 of onion chopped
  • 1 branch of epazote
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 2 cups of chicken consommé

    Preparation

    Chop the nopales and cook them with salt and a slice of onion in a little water; Chop the tomato and the mushrooms.
    Fry the onion in a little olive oil, when transparent, add the tomato and then the mushrooms.
    Remove the onion skin from the nopales and drain, rinse to remove the viscosity.
    Finally the nopales are incorporated, the cups of chicken consommé and when releasing the boil, the epazote leaves are placed.
    Let cook for five more minutes and go!

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a deep dish and accompany with a slice of lemon, to give it a special touch.

    TIPS

    To prevent nopales from remaining with slime, rinse them with cold water at the time of draining.
