This recipe of pastitas with tomato sauce and cheese is ideal for babies of 7-12 months. The recipe is rich in vitamin C and vitamin E and is very easy to eat.

Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1/2 Cup of tomato finely chopped or mashed
  • 2 spoonfuls of Water
  • 2 spoonfuls of Manchego cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/4 of onion finely chopped
  • 1 carrot peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 sheet of basil
  • 4 spoonfuls of alphabet pasta

    Preparation

    Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Lightly brown onion and carrots for 5 minutes.
    Add the basil, tomato and water, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat, add cheese and mix well.
    In a small pot cook the pastries according to the package instructions.
    Place the tomato sauce with cheese in the blender and mash. Mix with the pasta and allow it to cool a little before serving.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the food making sure it is not too hot.

    TIPS

    For a larger version, use 1 cup of letter paste and you do not need to puree the tomato sauce and cheese.
