Prepare this delicious tomato soup for your children. It is an easy and quick recipe that you can make to pamper children. It has an original decoration that you can make with cookie molds and flour tortillas. The soup is made with tomato and different vegetables, which is why it is very healthy. Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups tomtato
  • 1/2 cups carrot
  • 1/2 cups celery
  • 1/4 cups white onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 2 tablespoons mashed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tortillas
  • 2 teaspoons chinese parsley
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder
  • 2 cups Water, boiling

Preparation

Peel the carrot and celery, cut them into medium pieces. Try the white onion and grate the garlic. Cut the tomatoes in quarters.
Sauté the onion and garlic in a hot pot with oil, add the rest of the vegetables and cook until smooth. Dilute the chicken powder consommé in the boiling water and add it to the pot. Let it heat for 10 minutes until it reduces slightly.
Pass the soup to the blender and add the tomato puree, sugar, salt and pepper. Add the cream and stir until incorporated. Return to the pot to finish reducing the soup and concentrate the flavors.
Lightly heat the flour tortillas without getting a tan color. Cut tortilla flowers, using a cookie cutter. Do the same with carrots.
Serve the soup, place the tortilla flowers and carrots over the soup and sprinkle a little chopped parsley around.

PRESENTATION

Use cookie molds to give different shapes to the flour tortillas and decorate the soup.

TIPS

You can replace the flour tortilla with white bread, just crush it to make it thin and tuck it lightly so that it hardens without taking color.
