Potato Balls with Spicy Mustard Dressing

Prepare these crispy and soft potato balls and enjoy this creamy mustard dressing with morita chili. These potato balls are the best snack to share with your family on an afternoon of movies or series!

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 potatoes, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup manchego cheese, grated
  • 1 cup sausage, fried
  • 1 teaspoon coriander, finely chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 2 eggs, to bread
  • 1 cup ground bread, to bread
  • 2 morita pepper, for the dressing
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, for the dressing
  • 1 cup McCormick® mustard, for the dressing
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese, for the dressing
  • 1/4 teaspoons cumin powder, for the dressing

Preparation

In a pot with water, cook the potatoes with salt for 30 minutes or until they are cooked. Mash the potatoes and reserve.
In a bowl mix the potatoes with the cornstarch, the cheese, the chorizo, the coriander, season with salt and pepper. With the help of your hands, form balls and reserve.
Dip in the egg, pass through breadcrumbs and breaded.
In a frying pan with oil over medium heat, fry the potato balls until they are golden brown, place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
For the dressing; in a processor add McCormick® Original mustard, morita chili, chipotle, cream cheese, cumin, season with salt and pepper.
Serve the potato balls with the dressing.

PRESENTATION

On a plate accompanied by spicy mustard dressing.

TIPS

Freeze 30 minutes before frying the potato balls, so they are more crisp.
