Cooking Tip for Rice

If you are afraid of preparing rice because you think it is very easy to beat or it just does not fit as you should, here we tell you the key points to have a perfect and very tasty rice. Just pay attention in the following steps.

For this tip, you will need:
• 1 cup of rice
• 1 strainer
• 1 bowl
• 1 pot with lid
• Oil
• 2 cups of water
• 1 teaspoon salt

Place the rice in a colander and rinse with plenty of water until it comes out clear, to remove the excess starch.

Soak 5 minutes with warm water.

It dries very well.

Fry with plenty of oil and without moving too much so as not to break it (depending if it will be white or red rice let it take color or not). This step is very important for us to beat.

Remove the excess oil.

Add water and salt (water should be double the amount of rice and be sure to measure the liquid very well).

Once it boils, reduce heat, cover and let cook for 30 minutes without uncapping or until the liquid has been absorbed.
