Google dedicates today's Doodle to chilaquiles

When it comes to good food, Mexicans hit the jackpot. We can enjoy tamales, mole, tacos, and all kinds of snacks. However, there is one dish that has broken borders and even got a Google Doodle: the chilaquiles! This May 23, Google premiered a Doodle with a lot of flavor: some green chilaquiles with fried egg. The best part about this dish is that it is easy to prepare, you don’t have to spend a fortune, and it is also very versatile. It should be noted that in the world of chilaquiles, there are many options: green salsa, red, mole, with habanero, and more. For example, he mentions that every year, his aunt brought chilaquiles to the New Year's dinner. He also emphasizes the flavor of the green salsa his mom makes and the simple ingredients she uses.  Regarding the creative process, he said he chose the pink color because it seems very Mexican to him and from the beginning, he wanted to use a Talavera plate.
