Caramel Apple Punch

Punch is a classic that cannot be missing in Mexican homes during the December season, especially during Christmas posadas and gatherings. This time, we gave it a twist by adding McCormick® Apple Cinnamon Tea and caramel to the traditional fruit punch, give it a try! Did you know? Fruit punch was invented in India.

  • 4 liters water
  • 2 cones piloncillo
  • 1 box McCormick® Apple Cinnamon Tea
  • 2 sugarcanes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 golden apple, in sixths
  • 3 guavas, in quarters
  • 1 orange
  • caramel syrup
  • cinnamon stick
  • apple, for decoration

  • Place the water and piloncillo in a pot and cook for 15 minutes or until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and add McCormick® Apple Cinnamon Tea. Let it steep for 15 minutes.
  • Place back on the heat, add the tejocote, cane, apple, guava, and orange. Cook for another 20 minutes.
  • Drizzle some caramel syrup on the walls of the cup. Serve the hot punch with some fruit and decorate with a cinnamon stick and a slice of apple.
