Coconut Margarita

Legend has it that the famous and refreshing margarita was born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, in 1942. Although there are other versions regarding the origin of this cocktail, the reality is that it is a drink with a very Mexican flavor that has conquered the world.The classic margarita is made with few ingredients: tequila, lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup, ice, and salt, and is perfect to accompany any Mexican dish. However, we added a more tropical touch and created this coconut margarita to help you forget the heat, cheers!

  • 2 ounces Tequila blanco
  • 1 1/2 ounces coconut cream
  • 1/2 ounces orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • orange zest, for garnish

  • Add ice to your blender and then pour in the coconut cream, tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice.
  • Blend the margarita for 1 minute.
  • Serve the coconut margarita in a glass and garnish with orange zest.
