Delicious Three-Color Fruit Frappé

During these National Holidays, prepare a delicious Three-Color Frappé. This refreshing drink is made with natural fruits like watermelon, prickly pear, and guava. The best part of this frappé is that it is low in calories since it contains a sugar substitute and the natural sugars from the fruits.

  • 1/4 cups coconut, frozen, for rimming
  • 6 strawberries, stemless, for the red frappé
  • 3 tablespoons artificial sweetener, for the red frappé
  • 2 lemons, juice for the red frappé
  • 1 cup guava, for the white frappé
  • 1/4 cups coconut water, for the white frappé
  • 2 tablespoons artificial sweetener, for the white frappé
  • 1 cup prickly pear, for the green frappé
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint, for the green frappé
  • 2 limes, juice, for the green frappé
  • 3 tablespoons artificial sweetener, for the green frappé

  • 2 fruits, on a skewer, for decoration

  • Rim the glasses with honey and the frozen coconut. Set aside.
  • For the red frappé, blend the watermelon with strawberries, sugar substitute, yellow lemon juice, and enough ice until a consistent mixture is obtained. Set aside in the freezer.
  • For the white frappé, blend the guavas with coconut water, sugar substitute, and enough ice until a consistent mixture is obtained. Set aside in the freezer.
  • For the green frappé, blend the prickly pears with mint, lemon juice, sugar substitute, and enough ice until a consistent mixture is obtained.
  • Pour the red frappé into the glasses, filling a third of each one without touching the coconut rim, then continue with the white and lastly the green. Decorate with a skewer of fresh fruits and serve.
