Hibiscus Water

Hibiscus water is a very tasty and diuretic drink. This drink is commonly enjoyed in Mexico during meals, dinners, parties, etc. Prepare this delicious recipe.

  • 1/4 cups sugar, (to taste)
  • 9 cups water
  • 1 cup hibiscus flower

  • Boil the hibiscus flower in water for 25 minutes or until it takes on a very red color.
  • Remove the water from the heat and allow it to cool. Strain the water to remove the flowers.
  • In a pitcher, mix the water with the sugar. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving and add ice.
