Cut off the top of the apple like a lid, scoop out the fruit flesh with a spoon, leaving 10 mm thickness on the edges.
Zest the orange using a fine grater.
Put the liter of water in a pot over medium heat.
Add the apple, zest, and cinnamon.
When it's about to boil, add the juice of half an orange.
Serve hot in the hollowed-out apple, decorate with a quarter slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
