1 liter low-fat milk
1/4 tablespoons ground cardamom
5 allspice berries
1 cinnamon stick
3 cloves
1/2 tablespoons ginger powder
1/4 tablespoons nutmeg powder
3 star anise pods
4 tablespoons sugar
1 envelope Maizena® cornstarch nut flavor
1 cup cow's milk

Heat 1 liter of milk with the spices, and once it comes to a boil, remove from heat and cover. Let it steep for 10 minutes and strain.
Separately, dissolve the sugar and the Maizena® Corn Starch with walnut flavor in 1 cup of milk.
Pour the mixture of Maizena® Corn Starch with walnut flavor into the previously heated milk flavored with spices.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes, or until thickened.
