Easy Peanut Atole

  • 1 cup peanuts, unsalted, roasted
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups masa dough
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 piloncillo
  • 1/4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 cups unsalted peanuts, for decoration

  • Blend the peanuts with the evaporated milk, regular milk, and masa for 5 minutes or until it has a smooth consistency. Set aside.
  • Pour the water into a pot and cook for 5 minutes over low heat, then add the cinnamon stick and the piloncillo. When the piloncillo dissolves, pour in the previous mixture and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Serve the peanut atole and decorate with more peanuts.
