Fruit Punch with Hibiscus

  • 2 cups piloncillo, grated
  • 1 cup hibiscus flower
  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup mandarin orange juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 apples, cut into large cubes
  • 3 pears, cut into large cubes
  • 6 guavas, seedless, cut into quarters
  • 2 sugar cane, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 3 star anise pods
  • 2 cloves

  • In a large pot, heat the water over medium heat, add the piloncillo and the hibiscus; boil for 5 minutes and add the grapefruit juice, orange juice, and tangerine juice; then add the apple, pear, guava, and sugarcane; add the cinnamon, star anise, and clove. Boil over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  • Serve and decorate with the dehydrated fruit. Enjoy!
