Wheat Atole

It is a flour-free atole, sugar-free, made from natural wheat that, thanks to its fiber, helps us burn fat.

  • 1 cup wheat, natural, clean
  • 3 liters water
  • 2 piloncillos, large
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 stick cinnamon

  • Cook the wheat with 1 liter of water for 15 minutes in the pressure cooker.
  • Once the wheat is cooked, blend it with the same cooking water and strain it through a medium-hole colander.
  • Place 2 liters of water in a pot with the cinnamon stick and the two piloncillos and bring to a boil. Once it boils and the piloncillos have dissolved, add the previously cooked, ground, and blended wheat, along with the evaporated milk.
  • Let it boil for about 10 minutes and then turn off the heat, allowing it to cool a bit.
