In Mexico, horchata is a classic made from rice with a touch of cinnamon and milk. You will find various versions as many prepare it by mixing evaporated and condensed milk. Here we give you an easy and tasty recipe.
In a bowl, soak the rice in warm water for at least 2 hours.
Add the soaked rice with the water, milk, water, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon to the blender and blend until you have a smooth mixture. Strain and pour into a pitcher with ice.
Serve the water in glasses and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
