Pineapple Colada Lujan

This is an improved version of the Cuban piña colada recipe. A great recipe for summer holidays; red piña colada.

  • 300 grams pineapple
  • 2 ounces rum
  • 2 ounces whiskey
  • 3 cubes ice cubes
  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • 1 teaspoon red chinese powder
  • 1 teaspoon yellow chinese powder
  • 1/4 cups strawberries, slice
  • 2 cherries
  • 1 cup water

  • Boil the water, adding the Chinese powders.
  • Remove from heat and add the pineapple, letting it rest for 3 minutes.
  • Pour the ice, syrup, rested pineapple, rum, and whisky into the blender. Blend.
  • In a glass, place slices of strawberry and pour the drink. Decorate with a cherry.
