Wash the fruits, slice apples and guavas, cut the tejocotes (if you want, peel them; they are tastier).
Boil 25 cups of water with sugar and cinnamon in a pot, preferably a seasoned clay pot. Add the fruit; when it is cooked, remove the pot from the heat and add the red wine.
To peel the tejocotes, heat water; when it is boiling, add the tejocotes, turn off the heat, and as soon as the skin softens, proceed to peel them; this makes it very easy. You can use the leftover water from this simple peeling operation for the punch.
