3 cups whole milk
7 egg yolks, San Juan®
1 cup sugar
2 cups whipping cream
1/3 cups bourbon
1/3 cups brandy
1 tablespoon vanilla essence

Low
Boil the milk in a pot.
In a deep bowl, beat the San Juan® egg yolks with the sugar and slowly add the milk while continuing to mix.
Return the mixture to the pot and cook on low heat for 7 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Strain the rompope to remove any lumps and pour into a deep container.
Add the cream, bourbon, brandy, and vanilla.
Let it cool and serve.
