250 milliliters cow's milk
250 milliliters yogurt
500 grams tejocote
sugar, to taste
rods sugarcane, peeled
1 pinch salt
tejocotes, in flakes or dehydrated slices for decoration

Cook the tejocotes in water with sugar until they are soft.
Process/blend the tejocotes.
Blend the milk with the yogurt, tejocote puree, and salt.
Taste and add sugar to your liking.
Refrigerate the lassi for 30 minutes.
Serve the lassi in glasses along with a sugar cane stick with a slice of tejocote stuck in it.
