Lassi is a traditional drink from India, which is often flavored with local fruity ingredients. By using tejocote, the recipe adapts to the very particular taste of Mexicans during the Christmas season.
Serve the drink in glasses along with a sugar cane stick with a slice of tejocote stuck in it.
Tips
You can make dehydrated tejocote yourself by slicing it and placing the slices on a tray that you will later put in the oven at a temperature of no more than 60°C.
