Vanilla Coffee

If you like coffee, you can't miss this vanilla coffee recipe with a touch of chocolate and very creamy milk, enjoy it warm! Although coffee is a very popular drink in Mexico, everyone enjoys it differently, as some people drink it black and unsweetened, while others drink it with milk, cream, or other ingredients.

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons Mexican chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons coffee, freshly ground
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg

  • Heat the water over medium heat, add the chocolate and boil for about 5 minutes, until the chocolate dissolves. Then add the freshly ground coffee, cover, and remove from heat. Let it sit for 2 minutes, strain, and set aside.
  • In a pot over medium heat, heat the milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, vanilla, and nutmeg for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Pour into a thick glass with a lid and shake vigorously to create foam.
  • Pour the milk into a cup and then add the shot of coffee. Enjoy.
