Pumpkin Spice Clericot

The clericot is one of those drinks that must be present at your parties and celebrations; however, at kiwilimón we gave it a very autumnal and festive twist by adding a bit of pumpkin spice to make it even more delicious. Are you brave enough to try this pumpkin spice clericot?Did you know? Unlike summer red wine, clericot does have a fruity touch. It is usually prepared with apple, strawberry, peach, and more.

  • 1 pumpkin
  • 1 cup water, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 3/4 cups pumpkin purée, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 1 tablespoon ginger powder, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 1 tablespoon clove powder, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg powder, for the pumpkin syrup
  • 1 bottle Casillero del Diablo® Red Blend
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • ice cubes

  • Cut the top off the pumpkin and hollow it out with a spoon. Place the dispenser and set aside.
  • Combine water, brown sugar, sugar, pumpkin puree, ground cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg in a pot and cook for 5 minutes or until a syrup consistency is obtained. Let cool.
  • Pour the pumpkin spice syrup into the pumpkin, add the Casillero del Diablo® Red Blend bottle, ginger ale, and ice, and mix gently.
  • Serve the pumpkin spice clericot in glasses with ice.
