Sift the flour and place it in the food processor or mixer, then add the butter and process for 15 seconds, pour the milk through the tube and process for a few seconds until a ball forms (raisins or blueberries can be added at this point if desired).
Remove it and knead on a floured table 10 to 12 times.
Roll it out with a rolling pin to about 1/2 inch thick and cut with a round cutter, pressing evenly so they rise straight.
Place on a baking sheet, placing them close together, and bake for 12 minutes.
Serve warm with butter and jam.
