Carrot Cake with Chia

This carrot cake with chia is very tasty, has a high content of omega 3, fiber, and good cholesterol. It is very good for lowering cholesterol and has only 219.77 kcal.

  • 3 egg whites
  • 40 centiliters sunflower oil
  • 50 grams walnuts
  • 200 wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Cream the margarine with the sugar, gradually add the oil in a thin stream, very slowly.
  • Grate the carrot finely. Add the liquor and walnuts.
  • Sift the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon twice. Add the ground chia, mixing well. Incorporate into the previous mixture.
  • Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold into the previous preparation.
  • Pour into a mold previously sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180º C for about 40 minutes, until a knife inserted comes out clean.
