  • On a surface or with the help of a mixer, pour the flour and form a mountain. Add the yeast, egg, sugar, and salt there.
  • Start to incorporate gradually and slowly pour in the milk and egg, until everything is fully incorporated. Knead until the dough is moist but at the same time elastic, smooth, and soft; now it's time to add the butter; you'll also know when the dough is ready because it will easily pull away from the surface where you made it; let it ferment in a covered bowl for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Take the dough from the bowl, punch it down, and spread it with your hands on a surface, starting to wrap it towards your body as if you were forming a roll or taco, make two folds, and place it in a mold, leaving the seam down, the mold should match the portion of dough, it should fill the mold to ¾ of its height (before fermenting).
  • Let it rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes until it doubles in size.
  • To bake (you must preheat the oven to 190 °C), gently brush the dough, being careful not to puncture it, and bake for about 30 minutes. Once cooked, remember to check the internal cooking with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature in the same mold; unmold and, with the help of a serrated knife, cut slices of 1 cm (about the thickness of an index finger). The bread is ready to enjoy.
