Low
  • Prepare some sandwiches with 2 slices of bread and the jam in the center, and trim the edges with the back of the knife (careful, don't cut yourself), this is to seal the sandwiches
  • Beat the eggs with the vanilla and ½ cup of evaporated milk until well combined
  • Dip the sandwiches in the previous mixture, making sure to do it on both sides. Drain them and set aside on a plate
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and fry the breads one by one, on both sides, until golden brown. When you finish browning them, place them on a tray with paper towels
  • Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle it over the Extra Special jam sandwiches, being careful to remove the excess
  • To serve them, we need to prepare a sauce, for this, boil 1 cup of evaporated milk and ½ can of condensed milk for 2 minutes
  • When serving, drizzle the bread with the previous sauce. You can cut each French bread in half to form triangles and decorate with a plum, a strawberry, a cherry, or any fruit of your preference
