  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Grease the baking tray with a little butter and set it aside. Place the peeled garlic cloves along with the milk in a pot, bring it to a boil, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Once cooled, blend it in a blender and set aside.
  • Sift the flour with the salt in a bowl, add the yeast and the tablespoon of dried herbs, then add the seasoned milk with garlic, the 3 tablespoons of oil, and the lightly beaten egg. Mix everything until you obtain a dough.
  • Sprinkle a little flour on the table and turn the dough. Work it gently for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and fine, without lumps.
  • Grease a bowl (with butter or oil), place the dough in the bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  • Uncover the dough and knead it again for 2 more minutes, being careful not to remove the air that accumulated during the resting time. Divide it into 8 portions and shape each portion into a roll. Use the flat side of a knife to make light cuts on the surface of each roll.
  • Place them on a previously greased tray, cover them, and let them rise in a warm place for 15 minutes to finish rising.
  • Brush the rolls with a little milk and sprinkle coarse salt on top. Bake them for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked. Let them cool on a wire rack.
