1 1/4 cups clotted cream, thick
3 eggs
1 can condensed milk
4 1/2 cups wheat flour
1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla essence
2 1/2 tablespoons baking powder

Beat the condensed milk with the cream, vanilla, and eggs.
Without stopping to beat, gradually add the flour and baking powder until achieving a homogeneous dough.
Flour a surface, and with a rolling pin, roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick.
Using a round cutter, cut out the pieces and cook the gorditas on a hot griddle over low heat until they are cooked and lightly golden on both sides.
