Homemade Baguette

  • 400 grams flour, strong
  • 8 grams salt
  • 10 grams yeast, fresh
  • 275 milliliters water, warm
  • 5 milliliters olive oil

  • Form a volcano with the flour; in the middle add warm water and fresh yeast to activate it.
  • Start mixing and integrating the dough. Knead constantly until you achieve a uniform piece.
  • Grease a glass bowl with a little oil. Place the dough inside the bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it ferment for 20 minutes at 40°C.
  • Remove from the bowl and knead again. Let the dough rest for a few minutes and make cuts for texture.
  • Bake at 240°C for 20 minutes, creating humidity with water inside the oven.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and check the texture.
