We created a fun donut shape, with a soft and fluffy dough flavored with cinnamon and a delicious chocolate coating; these donuts will be the best option to dip in a glass of cold milk. Try them!
Hydrate the yeast with the milk. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the flour with the butter, the hydrated yeast, the sugar, the milk, the egg, the salt, the ground cinnamon, and knead until you have a firm dough.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with non-stick plastic, let it rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
On a floured surface, cut the dough into pieces of approximately 70 grams each, using your hands, form a roll and twist.
Place on a baking tray, and let it ferment for 15 more minutes.
In a small pot over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Place on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
Dip in the melted chocolate and let dry, decorate with lines of white chocolate. Let dry completely.
Serve accompanied by a glass of cold milk.
