Cinnamon Rolls with M&M’S

Cinnamon rolls are an ideal bread for any occasion and any time. This recipe has a special and fun twist with M&M'S®. Everyone will love it!

  • 60 milliliters milk
  • 10 grams dry yeast, for the dough
  • 375 grams flour, for the dough
  • 60 grams sugar, for the dough
  • 9 grams salt, for the dough
  • 3 eggs, for the dough
  • 3/4 cups butter, cut into cubes and cold, for the dough
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar, for the filling
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon, for the filling
  • 1 cup butter, soft, for the filling
  • 2 packages M&M'S® Chocolates 120 gr
  • egg, for brushing

  • Hydrate the yeast with the milk, let it rest for 10 minutes and set aside.
  • In a mixer, combine the flour, sugar, salt, eggs, and milk with the hydrated yeast and knead until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
  • Add the butter gradually while mixing until fully incorporated and the dough becomes elastic. Place in a bowl and ferment for 4 hours in the refrigerator or until it doubles in size.
  • For the filling: mix the butter with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface until you have a rectangular shape. Spread the filling evenly with a spatula, sprinkle M&M'S® chocolates 120 g, and roll up. Refrigerate for one hour.
  • Cut the rolls into 2 cm thick pieces and place them in a greased baking dish if necessary. Ferment for 1 hour until they double in size and brush with egg.
  • Bake the rolls at 180 °C for 40 minutes or until lightly golden.
  • Sprinkle M&M’S® chocolates 120 g on top and enjoy the warm rolls.
