  • 1/4 cups butter
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 6 croissants

  • In a bowl, mix the butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Mix until you obtain a thick and well-integrated dough. Add the chocolate chunks, mix until well combined, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Open the croissants in half, place some cookie dough inside, and bake at 180 °C for 10 minutes.
  • Serve the croissants with cookie and accompany with coffee.
