Red Fruit Biscuits with Nutella

  • 1 cup mixed berries, dried
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 500 grams flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 220 grams unsalted butter, cold, cut into cubes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups milk
  • 15 grams Nutella®

  • Soak the dried red fruits in orange juice for 1 hour; drain the excess liquid and set aside.
  • In a processor, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder for 10 seconds; add the butter and crush for 10 seconds at a time, until the mixture has a sandy texture; add the red fruits, the egg, and the milk, and incorporate without overmixing. Let it rest for 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough and cut, brush with egg and sugar, and bake for approximately 30 minutes at 180 °C. Let cool.
  • Cut in half and spread 15 g of Nutella®. Serve with fruit and a glass of milk.
