We open the two sheets of puff pastry, brush one of them with melted butter, and place the other on top. We cut the dough into two round shapes (one smaller than the other) and take them to the oven at 220ºC until they start to turn golden.
In the meantime, we prepare the syrup to soak them by putting the measured amount of water, sugar, and honey in a saucepan over the heat. We boil for 10 minutes.
We soak the donuts in the syrup and coat them in sugar.
