Soft Cream Cheese-Filled Rolls

These cream cheese-filled rolls are a must for snacking or to accompany any family meal. Soft, creamy, and very easy to prepare, they will be the ideal option to complement your dishes.

  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons water, warm
  • 4 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 90 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 1 egg, for brushing
  • black sesame seeds

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C, 20 minutes before baking the rolls.
  • Hydrate the yeast with the water and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Add to the mixer the flour, powdered milk, salt, sugar, and the hydrated yeast.
  • Add the eggs and beat until integrated, add the butter, and continue beating until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
  • In a previously greased bowl, place the dough and let it rest until it doubles in size.
  • For the filling, cream the cheese with a spatula, place it in a piping bag with a plain tip.
  • Weigh out 40-gram balls, place the cream cheese in the middle and form a ball.
  • Place on a baking sheet and slightly flatten, brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, let ferment for 20 minutes.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
