Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries and Yoghurt

A delicious and original version of French toast, filled with yoghurt and jam, prepare this delightful recipe.

  • 150 grams Oikos® greek style yogurt
  • 1 french bread
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry jam
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk

  • Heat a non-stick pan.
  • Cut slices of bread 4 - 5 cm thick. Make a horizontal cut without going all the way through, so that the filling stays between the bread.
  • In a bowl, mix the yoghurt with the jam.
  • In another bowl, mix the eggs, cinnamon, and milk and mix well.
  • Take the yoghurt mixture and fill the bread, dip in the egg mixture. Do all the slices before you start frying.
  • Place the butter in the pan and melt it, fry all the slices of bread in the pan until golden brown.
