  • 1/2 kilos flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 7 grams yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cups butter, soft

  • Mix the flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and water with a hook in a mixer until well combined; add the butter and incorporate completely. Place the dough in a bowl and let it rest for 30 minutes, until it doubles in size.
  • Punch down the dough, portion it, and shape the ‘segments’ of the teleras; let it rest once more for 15 minutes and bake for 25 minutes at 200 °C. Remove from the oven and cool.
  • Serve the teleras with butter and sugar.
