This is a recipe for making whole wheat bread; you can make conchas, rolls, empanadas, or any bread you like. However, in this case, we will make fluffy anise cemitas. Pair them with your favorite drink.
We put all the dry ingredients on the table: flour, sugar, salt, anise, and mix.
We make a well and put the yeast in the center with a little water to hydrate it; the water should be warm, not too hot, because the yeast dies at temperatures above 60 degrees.
We incorporate the eggs and start kneading, gradually adding water, and finally continue kneading and add the lard until we have a smooth and elastic dough.
Then we cut out balls of about 90 grams and shape them, after that we roll them out on whole wheat flour or wheat bran and place them on a greased baking sheet. Let them ferment in a warm place for about 30 minutes, then bake at 250ºC for about 20 minutes, and that's it.
