Yogurt Biscuits

  • 3/4 cups Oikos® greek style yogurt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 120 grams butter, cubed cold butter
  • 1 egg, blended
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg, for brushing

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Incorporate the butter and mix with your hands until it has a sandy texture.
  • In another bowl, mix the Oikos Greek Yogurt, egg, and water. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing only until combined. Do not overwork the dough.
  • Using a rolling pin, flatten the dough and cut out circles with a mold.
  • Place them on the baking sheet lined with paper and brush with the egg. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
