Yorkshire Puddings

England gifts us this recipe for delicious Yorkshire puddings, known as yorkshire pudding, they are very tasty and ideal to accompany a good meat like roast beef.

  • 4 eggs, fresh, measure amount in a measuring cup
  • 240 milliliters cow's milk, same amount of milk as eggs
  • 200 grams flour, same amount of flour as eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Preheat the oven to 230°C.
  • Mix the eggs, milk, and salt in a bowl and stir with an electric mixer. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Gradually add the flour (which was measured to be exactly the same amount as the eggs), and beat with the mixer until there are no lumps. It should resemble a thick cream.
  • Put 1/2 teaspoon of oil in each muffin tin and place the tray in the oven until the oil is very hot but not smoking.
  • Stir the prepared mixture once more and add 2 tablespoons of cold water.
  • Fill the muffin tins 3/4 full and quickly put them in the oven.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  • If there is leftover batter, repeat these steps.
