The recipe for Zucchini and Cheese Tart is simply delicious; it is a succulent tart made with zucchini and cheese that we assure will be a hit. It is very easy to prepare and the combination of cheese and zucchini is delightful.
FILLING:
1- Wash the zucchinis, cut them in half. Remove the insides, keeping the skin. Grate them coarsely.
2- Microwave for 2 minutes. Drain. Keep the juice.
3- Sauté onion and bell pepper. Add the zucchinis (without their juice).
4- Whisk eggs until they double in volume. Add seasonings and cheese.
5- Mix vegetables and eggs.
TART DOUGH:
1- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
2- Make a well in the center and add oil and the juice of the zucchini.
3- Knead. Add water if necessary.
ASSEMBLY OF THE TART:
1- Grease a round baking dish.
2- Place the dough by stretching it with your fingers using oil or flour. Cover the base and 2 cm high.
3- Add the filling.
4- Cover with cheese and decorate with strips of bell pepper.
5- Bake for 30 minutes. Heat from the bottom of the tray. Broil for 2 minutes.
6- Serve cold or hot, smile and surprise your guests!!!
