Baked Eggs with Jocoque

Delicious baked eggs with jocoque. This recipe is very easy and super fast, ideal for a brunch.

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon chives, chopped fresh
  • 2 tablespoons jocoque
  • pepper, to taste

  • Position the grid of your oven in the center and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease two refractory souffles for souffle or individual gratin (like the one in the photograph).
  • Break two eggs and pour in each refractory (careful not to break the yolk).
  • Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with green onions. Spoon the jocoque over the eggs.
  • Bake until the eggs begin to bubble and the edges are lightly browned (about 5 minutes). Remove from oven and serve.
