3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoons vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 cups light milk
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/8 teaspoons salt
10 slices wholemeal bread
10 teaspoons unsalted butter
maple syrup

In the cup where you measured the milk, combine the sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, and salt until everything is smooth.
Beat the eggs and add the vanilla and the previous milk mixture until smooth.
In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, grease it with butter.
Dip each slice of bread on both sides and place it on the hot skillet. Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side.
Serve immediately; you can spread butter when they're hot and add maple syrup to taste.
