Classic Ham Molletes with Pico de Gallo

This dish is always the most popular choice for breakfast or dinner, delicious molletes made with toasted bolillo with butter, spread with refried beans, slices of ham, soft and warm melted Manchego cheese, with a tangy and spicy touch of pico de gallo salsa. Incredible.

  • 4 bolillo rolls, cut in half
  • 1/4 cups butter
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 2 slices turkey deli ham, thin
  • 4 slices Manchego cheese, thin
  • pico de gallo

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • On a griddle, toast the bolillos with a little butter. Remove from the griddle and spread with warm refried beans.
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve the molletes on a plate accompanied by pico de gallo salsa, enjoy.
