I love hot buns, so I hope you enjoy this one and that you can prepare it. It has an orange flavor, perfect for breakfast. I hope you like it... hugs and kisses ;)
Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar, the orange juice, and the orange zest until they are thick and creamy. Incorporate the ladyfingers and the Cointreau and continue beating.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold them into the orange mixture.
Divide the mixture into 4-6 small baking dishes of 1/2 cup capacity, greased. Cook for 15 minutes in a moderate oven.
To make the syrup, combine the orange juice, the jam, the lemon juice, and the sugar in a medium saucepan over moderate heat. Simmer for 5 minutes with the soufflés.
