Delicious Strawberry Jam

So you no longer have to buy strawberry jam at the supermarket, with this recipe you can make a tasty homemade jam that is rich and healthy.

  • 2 cups strawberries, medium
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • Wash the strawberries very well, remove the stem, and cut them into 4 pieces. If they are very large, cut them into 8 pieces.
  • In a saucepan, place the strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Heat over low heat, stirring to prevent burning.
  • Bring to a boil and continue stirring until all the sugar has dissolved. Keep boiling for another 30 minutes.
  • When the jam is ready, it should be slightly translucent.
  • Turn off the heat and continue stirring every 10 minutes until it cools down. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
