So you no longer have to buy strawberry jam at the supermarket, with this recipe you can make a tasty homemade jam that is rich and healthy.

2 cups strawberries, medium
3/4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons lime juice

Wash the strawberries very well, remove the stem, and cut them into 4 pieces. If they are very large, cut them into 8 pieces.
In a saucepan, place the strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Heat over low heat, stirring to prevent burning.
Bring to a boil and continue stirring until all the sugar has dissolved. Keep boiling for another 30 minutes.
When the jam is ready, it should be slightly translucent.
Turn off the heat and continue stirring every 10 minutes until it cools down. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
