Poached Eggs with Goat Cheese

For a special occasion, when you want to impress at breakfast, make these poached eggs with goat cheese, you can use organic eggs or add some spinach to vary the flavor.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for greasing
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 100 grams goat cheese, cut into 4 slices
  • 5 sprigs fresh chives, chopped for garnish
  • salt, and pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 150 °C.
  • Grease 4 individual soufflé molds. Put 1 tablespoon of cream in each, season with salt and pepper, and break 1 egg into each mold.
  • Place a slice of cheese on top of each egg. Add pepper.
  • Put the molds in a baking dish, fill the baking dish halfway with boiling water.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Garnish with chives, serve immediately.
