Cucumber Salad and Jamaica Patties

Delicious and original Jamaica patties with no carbohydrates, accompanied by a fresh salad and a spicy avocado puree. Ideal for dinner time so you don’t go to bed feeling heavy.

  • 2 cups hibiscus flower, cooked and without liquid
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups white onion, sliced
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 cup coconut flour
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 cucumber, cut into half moons
  • 2 cups Eva® lettuce
  • 1 cup avocado pulp
  • 1 lemon, to accompany

  • In a bowl, mix the cooked Jamaica, the egg, the white onion, season to your liking, and add the coconut flour. Mix very well to form all the patties, set the patties aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with the oil and add the patties to cook for 5 minutes on each side. Remove the patties and set aside.
  • Serve the patties with a cucumber salad with lettuce and avocado puree. If desired, you can add lemon juice. Enjoy.
